Washington to the Golden Gate Top adventure Across America’s Best Cities

East Meets West, Iconic Cities, Scenic Highways and California Dreaming

Start in the heart of U.S. history Washington D.C. Explore iconic landmarks like the Capitol, Lincoln Memorial, and White House, then unwind with a sunset cruise on the Potomac. From here, cruise through the green countryside to Amish country before hitting the pulse of the East Coast: New York City. You’ll wander Wall Street, gaze across the water at the Statue of Liberty, and soak in the buzz of Times Square.

Next stop: the West Coast. Touch down in Los Angeles, where movie magic and palm-lined boulevards welcome you. Snap a selfie under the Hollywood sign, stroll Rodeo Drive, and end your evening at vibrant Long Beach. Then, escape the city life as you journey up the coast—pausing at Santa Monica Pier and the Danish-style town of Solvang before overnighting in Bakersfield.

Nature lovers, get ready. You'll walk beneath the world’s largest trees in Sequoia National Park, feel the mist of Yosemite’s waterfalls, and take in jaw-dropping views of California’s best national parks.

Wrap it all up in San Francisco, where trams climb hills, the Golden Gate glows at sunset, and neighborhoods like North Beach and Chinatown buzz with flavor and character.

This tour is made for travelers who want the full American road trip vibe—history, culture, nature, and that classic coast-to-coast thrill.

Day 01 FRI. Washington

Welcome. transfer to hotel and free time. You will receive information for the start of your circuit in the afternoon, or through the information signs located at the hotel reception. In the afternoon we include an evening transfer to Georgetown, the city’s busiest district full of bars and restaurants. Accommodation.

Day 02 SAT. Washington

After breakfast, departure to the beginning of the visit of Washington D.C. We begin the view of the city, first we see the Pentagon on our way en route, with photographic stop at the Iwo Jima Memorial, both in Virginia. We will continue with stops at the Lincoln, Korea and Vietnam Memorial; We visit the John F Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, then we will make a photo stop at the White House and finally we will border the Capitol, ending in the museum area of Washington. In the afternoon, we go on a boat trip on the River Potomac to see some of the main landmarks of the city. After the trip, we return to the hotel. In the evening, we take an optional tour of Washington by night and then return to our accommodation. 

Note: due to the weather conditions, the Potomac River boat does not operate from October to March.

Day 03 SUN. Washington - Lancaster USA - New York

Breakfast and departure from Washington to LANCASTER, where we will observe the typical Amish farms and their 18th century lifestyle. Stop along the way for lunch. We continue to NEW YORK. Arrival in the afternoon.

Day 04 MON. New York

After breakfast, a panoramic tour of the city seeing higher, middle and lower Manhattan. We will visit Wall Street, Rockefeller Center, St Patrick’s Cathedral, Central Park, Columbus Circle, the AOL/ Time Warner Building, the famous Village, Little Italy and Battery Park (with the panoramic image of the Statue of Liberty). In the evening, we include a transfer to Times Square, the real heart of the city, with Broadway’s musicals and its spectacular lights. Note: If the confirmed hotel is in the Times Square area, no additional transfer is provided.

Day 05 TUE. New York - Los Angeles

At the time informed by the guide, we will make a transfer to the airport to catch a domestic flight included in your trip. On arrival at destination we will give you another hotel transfer. Your guide will contact you at the end of the afternoon or you can consult the information in your hotel reception. Note: remember that on domestic flights, the luggage normally allowed is one suitcase of up to 23 kg in the hold. Passengers must pay for all excess luggage directly to the airline.Welcome. Transfer to hotel and free time. You will receive information about the start of the circuit during the afternoon, or you can check the informative panels in the hotel reception area.

Day 06 WED. Los Angeles

After breakfast we included a panoramic tour of this extensive city. Tour including music center, civic center and financial center, via LA Live & Staples Center. We continue along Wilshire Boulevard, heading west of the city, past the Korean Quarter and the Brea Ditch to reach Beverly Hills. Continue on Sunset Boulevard to reach Hollywood and find the Walk of Fame with its thousands of stars, the Dolby Theater, Chinese Theater and the Hollywood sign. Free time to walk and have lunch. 

Late in the afternoon, we include a transfer to Long Beach, where palm trees mix with the glass buildings, we will have some time in Shoreline Village to walk and dine in their lively restaurants across the Queen Mary transatlantic.

Day 07 THU. Los Angeles - Santa Monica - Solvang - Bakersfield

We leave Los Angeles and stop at the Santa Monica Pier, so often depicted in Hollywood movies. Continuation to Solvang, a Danish little piece in California. Later we arrived in Bakersfield.

Day 08 FRI. Bakersfield - Sequoia National Park - Fresno

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Amazing forests with its sequoias. After breakfast, we set out on a journey with scenery that is completely unlike what we saw the day before. We leave the desert behind us and enter one of the most impressive forests in the USA, inhabited by an exception species: Giant Sequoias. 

Visit to the Sequoia National Park. Visitors can take pictures of the General Sherman, the largest tree in the world, among others, and stroll amidst these giants of nature. Then we continue to Fresno.

Day 09 SAT. Fresno - Yosemite - San Francisco

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Yosemite National Park. Waterfalls and mountain landscapes. After breakfast, we head for another important national park: Yosemite. Its awesome precipices, waterfalls and vegetation make it one of the most beautiful mountain landscapes in the world. We will visits its most important icons: the Captain, the Half Dome and its waterfalls. Free time for lunch. In the afternoon, we continue to SAN FRANCISCO where we arrive in the late afternoon.

Day 10 SUN. San Francisco

After breakfast, we include a city tour of the city, we will pass through Union Square with its trams, the famous Chinatown, Financial District, the Theater District, Civic Center and Alamo Square, where we can see the famous painted Victorian houses, with the contrast to the background of the modern city, which has been the scene of countless films. 

We will pass through the Castro neighborhood to reach the Twin Peaks hill, where we will have a panoramic view of the city and the bay. We continue through the historic hippie neighborhood of ¨Haight Ashbuty¨, and continue to Golden Gate Park where we will make a stop. We continue to the Golden Gate Bridge where we will finish the visit of the city. 

Free afternoon during which you can take an optional tour to the city of Sausalito, with incredible views of San Francisco and the bay. In the evening we include a night transfer to North Beach, ¨Little Italy¨, the authentic nightlife heart of the city, full of restaurants.

Day 11 MON. San Francisco

After breakfast, end of our services.
