Go on an amazing 11-day safari in Kenya & Tanzania that you will remember forever

You will get to see incredible wildlife and have rich cultural experiences as you travel. The journey starts in Nairobi where you'll visit the National Museum, Giraffe Centre, & David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage.

Go into Tanzania and stay in Arusha. This town is near Serengeti National Park where you will go on game drives & see animals such as lions, elephants, and zebras. It's also home to the Big Five.

Visit Ngorongoro Crater which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The animals live there because it's got very good conditions (lush vegetation).

See how Maasai people live and experience their culture.

Drive back to Nairobi at the end of your time in Masai Mara. On the way, think about all the exciting things you've seen and done on this trip.

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi – Karibu Kenya

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, where our friendly representative will be waiting to warmly welcome you. Enjoy a comfortable transfer to your hotel for check-in and relaxation after your journey.

In the evening, come together for a casual welcome dinner to meet your fellow travelers and receive a briefing on the incredible adventures ahead.

Day 2: A Glimpse of Kenya’s Past and Present

Today, delve into Nairobi’s rich culture and history. Start your day at the National Museum, followed by a visit to the Giraffe Centre, where you can interact with endangered Rothschild giraffes. Continue to the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage to see rescued baby elephants being cared for.

End your day with a traditional Kenyan meal at a local restaurant.

Day 3: Nairobi to Arusha – Gateway to Tanzania

After breakfast, depart Nairobi and drive through scenic countryside to the Namanga border, where you'll cross into Tanzania. From there, continue to Arusha, a vibrant town nestled at the base of Mt. Meru.

In the evening, enjoy a cultural dinner with Tanzanian flavors.

Day 4: Arusha to Serengeti – The Wild Awaits

After breakfast, take a scenic flight from Arusha to Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival, set off on your first thrilling game drive across the sweeping plains in search of elephants, lions, zebras, and more.

Later, check into your luxury safari lodge or tented camp and unwind as the sun sets.

Day 5: Full-Day Safari in the Serengeti

Spend a full day exploring the iconic Serengeti, renowned for the Great Migration and the Big Five. With your experienced guide, visit different areas of the park and witness extraordinary wildlife moments.

Enjoy a bush picnic lunch before continuing your game drive into the afternoon.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater – Eden of Africa

After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Crater for a half-day game drive in this UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to one of the densest concentrations of wildlife in Africa.

After your safari, ascend the Crater and head to your lodge on the rim, where dinner and panoramic views await.

Day 7: Cultural Immersion – Maasai Experience

Today begins with a visit to a local Maasai village to gain insight into their fascinating customs and way of life. Experience their songs, dances, and traditions firsthand.

After lunch, enjoy time at leisure or participate in a guided nature walk before a relaxed evening at your lodge.

Day 8: Journey to Masai Mara – Into the Wild Again

Depart early for a scenic drive through the border crossing into Kenya and onward to the legendary Masai Mara. Upon arrival, embark on an exciting game drive through the vast savannah, teeming with wildlife.

Check into your safari camp, where delicious cuisine and fireside storytelling await.

Day 9: Full Day in the Masai Mara

Spend a full day exploring the world-famous Masai Mara Reserve, known for its dramatic landscapes and abundant wildlife. With your guide, you may witness a lion hunt, spot herds of elephants, or marvel at the acrobatics of cheetahs.

Enjoy a bush picnic and soak in the raw beauty of the African wilderness.

Day 10: Farewell Game Drive & Leisure

This morning, take one last early game drive to catch the wildlife in action during the golden hours. After breakfast back at camp, enjoy some downtime to reflect, journal, or simply take in the tranquility of your surroundings.

Optional: Visit a local school or women’s project supported by tourism initiatives.

Day 11: Until Next Time – The Road Back to Nairobi

This morning, after a leisurely breakfast, your guide will drive you from the untamed beauty of the Masai Mara back to Nairobi. The journey takes approximately six hours, with the first half being on bumpy and scenic roads, and the second half on paved roads as you near the city.

Along the way, enjoy refreshment stops and opportunities to browse local craft markets. Interact with artisans and pick up meaningful souvenirs for yourself or loved ones.

Upon arrival in Nairobi, you’ll be dropped at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight or at your hotel depending on your travel plans.
